From the couch to the podium, public speaking allows me to meet people where they are. Speaking creates space for me to do my part to empower, educate, and erase the stigma surrounding mental illness and mental health therapy. I engage audiences with experiential activities, creativity, stillness, and movement.
From the couch to the podium, public speaking allows me to meet people where they are. I realize that not everyone will schedule an individual therapy or wellness session therefore speaking publicly and holding space with large and small audiences allows me to expand my reach. Speaking creates space for me to do my part to empower, educate, and erase the stigma surrounding mental illness and mental health therapy.
